At its center is a comprehensive and collaborative professional development program to enhance the science understandings, abilities, attitudes, and instructional practices of teachers of ELLs in grades K-8. Its overall aim is to improve a school’s capacity through strong leadership, culturally responsive classroom pedagogy, and parent participation to develop inquiry and discovery in science for young English language learners.
